Rain... Anti-slip...?

Morning... Was walking towards the MRT... Was raining...
My shoes were wet... Walking fast, barely want them soaked throughout...
As I was walking inside the station, I've suddenly got this strange feeling.... Couldn't quite figure out cause my mind was still pretty 'empty' back then...
As I was standing on the platform waiting for the train to come... Overlooking the open track.... The line of 'anti-slip'? which was before the yellow line... It then occured to me.... As I was walking up here along within the station... 'These things' felt slippery under my feet... So much more than the ordinary concrete ground...
Rain.. Isn't it a day which often floor is wet...?

I suddenly thought.. So these 'anti-slips' were actually designed for days which are not wet...? INDEED, days like these.. They would give you a better hold of yourself on the ground... But a day like today...? Too SLIPPERY and DANGEROUS perhaps...? -

I dont think those are anti slip. They are meant for the disabled.

Yeah... I previously thought so too... Somehow I can't help but to think in this way...?
With them lined up along the side of the platform when they are so slippery on a rainy day... Even if it's for the disabled, doesn't make sense to risk the lives of others...?

....tactile guidance system, the visually impaired commuters will also able to use the MRT facilities independently. The tactile route will start at the entrance of the station at ground level and lead to the station concourse level....

But SERIOUSLY... The thought of it gives me the CREEPS sometimes... Especially when you can still parents who let their kids run all over the place... Adults who won't listen to the "Please stand behind the yellow line" announcements...
On a rainy day when it's wet... Anyone who steps on that thing got pushed?? It's ALMOST a 80-90% sure bet that the person would just fall right into the track if the impact is great enough... -

Then y don't the authority look into the matter & put anti-skid pad for the normal commuters??

Like the Hokkien saying goes "Woo Jit Ho, Bo Neng Ho", meaning If its good for one, its may not be good for another.
I also heard its for the blind to feel the way and the small knobs actually guide them str to the train doors, if you notice where they are placed. -
