The Nokia N90 focuses on photography. It is the first mobile phone which comes with Carl Zeiss optics (not lens, only CMOS in Carl Zeiss optics standard). The camera can support to take up to 2 megapixels pictures (1600 x 1200 pixels) and 352 x 288 pixels CIF quality MP4. The unique twist-and-shoot design makes the phone looking like a camcorder. Nokia N90 is expected to become available during the second quarter of 2005.
The Nokia N91 is like hard disk type music player. It comes with a 4GB hardisk to store music, photos and other files. The media player support many types of music formats like MP3, WMA, WMA with DRM extenstion, AAC, eAAC, Real V8, and M4A. The phone also use 3.5mm standard handphone slot so that users can choose their own headset or connect to any speakers. The phones support WCDMA and WLAN 802.11b/g/I while video calling cannot be achieved since no front camera supplied. The Nokia N91 is expected to become commercially available worldwide at the end of 2005.
The Nokia N70 is claimed the world's smallest Series 60 based 3G WCDMA device with a 2 megapixel camera. Although the phone is slightly smaller than 6680, it is still bigger than the Sony Ericsson K600i. The phone supports all the features of 6680 and gets some improvements. It supports full Nokia Nseries multimedia feature set, including push email, HTML browser, music player and FM radio with stereo audio, the Nokia N70 is expected to become available during the third quarter of 2005.
