Different Culture!

You may be surprised to see how the Aussies do their presentations in post-graduate seminars.
I have seen Nina an Aussie woman (in her 30s) b.reast feeding at the back of the room while she waited for her turn to present.
And today, it was this Nina again; she was listening and knitting at the same time while the 1st presenter was presenting!
Then when it was her turn, instead of standing or at least sitting properly, she sat on one of her legs and presented her paper.
Then one member of the faculty was eating her sandwich, another member of the faculty was cutting and eating his fruits.
I can't imagine this happening in Singapore. We are so different.
Any comments? Or do you have interesting stories to share about attending or giving presentations? -
no comment..like you say..different culture.. they such made themselves comfortable? what wrong?
like in africa, chio bu means obeses ppl, then should we kill ourselves? society mould our thinking and behavior. -

only this Nina is tiny, quite thin and she must be only 1.5m. -

they will play with their toys while the mum listens to the lecture...
