did u use it wif ur wet hands or did u knock the lappy b4?Originally posted by Chief_SittingBull:Hi all, i really need some advices on this problem of mine. I just purchased an Acer laptop about 2wks ago.. Somehow, my mousepad's a bit weird, in that when i use my finger to move the mouse pointer, somehow it kinda jumps.. I mean, say i move to this particular spot on the screen, once a while, the pointer will jump away from that pt... Its like a form of resistance to going to that particular desired spot... One friend said that its normal in the usage of laptop's mousepad cos its very very sensitive, another friend said that its not common, and that there may be faults with the mouse pad... Btw, i have not use a wired mouse yet... Thanks once again and cheers ! By the way, did i made a good choice in buying Acer TravelMate 4152LmI...
Thanks for pointing that out.. Now i feel real stupid !Originally posted by TehJarVu:

Hi mate, i just wanna know if its common for laptop to have such problems?? Have you ever experienced that for yourself??? Its like the pointer being stubborn and moves slightly away from where u want it to be... At times, the resistance can get really irritating !!Originally posted by sgboy2004:still within warrant...go ask them to change one
No knocks.... No wet hands.... Have u had similar probs?? By the way, i got this Acer recovery disk.... Is that what u mean by reinstalling the inbuilt mouse???? Also, i dun mind using a mouse, but i just wanna know if this problem is actually a real problem with the manufacturing, and if so, at least i can go have it solved, then buy a usb mouse... Thanks !Originally posted by dark_snowboy:did u use it wif ur wet hands or did u knock the lappy b4?
or try reinstalling ur inbuilt 'mouse'
using a external mouse is wat every laptop user will do -_-"
unless u using on lap or wat
go to ur touchpad hardware program, go to the tab 'pointing options' and enable pointer precisionOriginally posted by Chief_SittingBull:Hi mate, i just wanna know if its common for laptop to have such problems??
