I just did today. I was amazed at the sheer beauty of the phone.....When I touched the phone, I experience a sensation which I have never felt before...it was real good

The cheapest modle retails at 8000SGD while the special collections retails at 16000-25000SGD....I wonder if its a good investment...the vertu should not be subjected to any form of depreciation if Im not wrong....

Of course if you flood the market with diamonds, then they just might depreciate as well. -
The vertu really looks good, I suppose the price is as good as well.

very frankly i can't see a vertu as a form of investment. i see it only as a personal sign that you've made it. you get that phone once you can easily afford the finer things in life, as a reward for yourself for running the rat race and climbing the corporate ladder....else...i don't think many would consider getting a vertu. besides, a phone is a phone is a phone... the design and materials maybe different, but the technology is essentially the same.

I was at an art museum ages ago. There have some vertu arts on display.

An object, particularly a work of art that has is costly but serve no particular purpose.
Well, vertu to some, white elephant to others. Personally I prefer an 02 to a vertu any day -
it doesn't look very impressive to me leh... hmmm.. which is good, cos then i wun crack my head deciding if i want to spend yuan wang qian on it...

Gold is listed as a valued commodity on the stock exchange subject to references. Over ten years, depending on the economic value, it may appreciate or depreciate in value.
As for this liquid metal, short of being long lasting and attractive, i doubt it will tempt buyers...even the rich and infamous.
Technology is always advancing at astronomical rates so VERTU will very likely go the way of the typewriter on 1-2 years. -
