  NO, you're the one that's stupid. Please lah, obviously, someone who names their Lan Jiao isn't white. Of course, it wouldn't look or sound right when you use it first name/last name. It's the same way around if you tried using George Bush as Bush George, right? BTW, the Finnish people use it Surname then first name. Out of point but I hate people who call someone Mr, Mrs or Miss with the first name.

  Actually, instead of using "First Name" and "Last Name" on any documents or application forms at work, I prefer to use "Given Name" and "Family Name". So far, everybody understands it. It is more straightforward.
  
  Tan Ah Gao
  Tan = Family Name (cuz his father also Tan. Very straightforward)
  Ah Gao = Given Name (cuz his parents gave him this name)
  
  It is that simple. First Name and Last Name is more for ang moh countries. Those ang moh don't seem to know that there are ppl in this world who have their surname in front.
