Today is the last straw, since the 1st day I joined, got so many people asking abt the meaning of my nick.
Since that day, I've been repeating and repeating myself... very gum kor leh!!
I then took the trouble to search for a FLASH application that illustrate with an example (Bach's G minor Fugue from Well-tempered Clavier), STEP by STEP what is a fugue.
if you've the patience to go thru (abt a few minutes), you'll fully understand what is a fugue.
Save the doc link in my signature "What is a Fugue?" and open from yr harddisk....
(Flash Animation is embedded in Word document as Geocities doesn't allow upload of *.exe files.)

The popular classical tune "Pachelbel's Canon" most of u like, is also a fugue.
it's a special type of fugue called "canon", where the exposition section occupys the ENTIRE piece....which means no development section. -
