Why are there less flags hang outside HDB blks

I see an all time low of flags hung outside blocks in recent years and compared to the 80s and 90s is peanuts? Why? SIngaporeans not proud of their country any more?

number decreasing every year.I think the few faithful ones are those RCs...putting up the flags as part of their NDP decorations.

imo, there is nothing wrong with hanging nor not hanging flag.

Buying the flag and hanging it up is ok for a while la...after when the flag is old and off-colour very leh-chey to get rid off ah... cannot simply throw away...must 'dispose off in a respectful manner'....what is this 'dispose off in respectful manner'????? wtf!! so might s well dun buy lor...so mah huan!!

i find that this year's national day qi fen,atmosphere,aura not so high...
last time tv always got show those national day songs mtv 1....now like not saw be4....
even the taufik n rui en song...i always see the mv in mrt but I NEVER heard the song be4....heard its not very nice....
considering this year is out nation's 40th birthday... -
it's the usual bo chup, couldn't-care-less, why-should-i-do-it-since-i-won't-benefit-anything-in-return type of attitude of singaporeans. they won't do it unless there a law forcing them to do it.
