  But... the vegetarian theory comes back again. Is clean and fast death good enough? Only to a certain extend.

  think it is wasteful... just skin is placed into use but the fresh just throw aside to rot...

  well if i'm not wrong plants are alive too worse, we normally do not kill them b4 taking their limbs or fruits leaving them to suffer.
  
  anyway note that its natural to kill things to eat such as tigers killing and eating. natural doesn't make it right but it would be a point to consider. in addition, if we do not eat/kill the animals the balance of the ecosystem will be severely screwed too

  well, plants do not have pain sensing neural system as animals do. Based on this, most of us believe plants don't feel pain.
  
  yupe, it is natural that animals eat animals. But don't you think that human is somewhat quite different from animals, though human came from animal?

  This video was actually mentioned in a fashion magazine. It was calling for the end of wearing fur and how in the Australian climate there's no need to be wearing fur.
  And to buy vintage not new fur coats.
  
  Recently everyone has been back to doing furs whereas a few years ago, they were sitting in second hand shops for $15 and nobody wanted them. Now it's gone up to $99 and everyone is rushing to get their hands on one.

  actually we are classified as animals and i see no real reason to withdraw that classification since we are jsut another spcies doing thigns differently from the other species, the distinction from nature is just our puffed up sense of superiority, but thats my view. of course, in common usage animals do not refer to humans.
  
  either way i see no good reason to stop the eating of meat since the killing is rather natural and in no way more cruel than the eating of plants/predation.
  
  and also call me inhuman if you want but i can't bring myself to feel extreme pity/sorry for animals that are not tortured just killed cleanly. oh well considering i am up for killing of animals/insects that disturb me....................( no flames pls)
