Free use of toilet.
Free use of bed when you're tired.
Less noise (usually).
Less stress out of atmospheric tension when you're studying in a room where lots of people are studying (think: NUS Central Library).
No need to waste money on transport.
Don't have to bother about dressing up - you can study in your underwear, SBO and helmet for all I care. -

i never understand why people wanna go to places like macdonalds to study...i am like wth...so many people walking by...noisy...somemore take up a sit when people want to sit...
if u go with a friend...even worse...70% of the time you will be chit-chatting with your friend...especially those jc people...go in one large group...take up so many space...people want to find a sit to eat oso cannot...

during my schooling days, i found it hard to study at home. cos too many temptations. when i see my bed, i feel like sleeping. when i see my comic books i feel like reading them. in short i will always found something to do to distract me from studying.
library is the still the best place that allows me to concentrate.
