saw a dead cat wihile jogging

last sat when i was jogging along the way..i saw a dead cat on grass patch alobg the road with flys all over...so sad but there nothibg much i can do
today when i jog the same route n when i came across the same grass patch guess wad i saw a black patch , the whole place sinks.. i dono wad but there is this layer of black substance...but wad puzzle me is where the dead cat ...did someone remove it or is it still there..but if its still there whers the bones?.. n if someone did remove it why is there still this lump of blackish substances which i tink is the decomposing flesh.. -

Last time got see dead cat at a carpark, probably rammed by a car.
Poor thing, mouth was gaping wide open with the blood visible around it.
