why do moderators work when they are not paid?

  They enjoy talking to others.
  
  And, they enjoy the power of being the king in this cyber realm. They have the power to correct the things they don't like, not because the things are wrong.
  
  Human... If I were the mod, I would most probably do the same thing. Logic, I am really an human.
