You all think speak singlish ppl can be Poly lecturer? Are the industy gained technical skills as important as his communication? For me during NUS I have china or india come PhD doing lecture and their english very bad but they are still employed to be lecturers. So I was thinking Poly also adopt such approach? Communication skills vs technical skills imparting knowledge? Poly students which will you choose?

As long as the idea is getting across, no matter if it's English or it's Singlish, it will be an example of good communication.

That's why they're lecturers.
I feel even if you have very good skills but you can't communicate well, it's as good as nothing.
Same for a salesman who has a very good product but dun know how to market it.
