  Or might be the architect's choice. Not all Justices are blindfolded.
  
  Singapore's Supreme Court's scluptor is Rudolf Nolli, who also sclupted the statues at Keppel Train Station and the stone lions at Bank Of China Building (Raffles Place near Fullerton).
