  is skull smooth,,i mean when u feel ur skull,is there dents.lumps on yr head or izit complelely smooth with no dents ,lump..i have this bony lump on center of back of my head..is it normal,anyone of u have this?

  Its supposed to hold a pigtail there.
  
  Notice many people have pigtail hairdo in the past . Those girls with 2 pigtails have 2 lumps , go and touch to confirm this
  
  Other than that the head is normal. Dont know if the brain is or not.

  Maybe u hit ur head wen ur young n cracked ur head. Then wen u grow, the bone overlapped the cracks resulting in the lump or mound.

  Although, I'm wondering he's talking about the lamboidal suture, which sits between the parietal and occipital bones. All depends on how far down the back of the head he's feeling, I suppose.

  He won't be able to feel the lambdoid suture beneath the scalp. In babies before the cranial plates fuse...maybe...but I doubt he is that young.

  i have something like this, but its not "bony lump", instead i guess its sort of a pus lump. goodness, whatever is that. It isn't apparent but its still annoying, whenever i lie flat on a hard floor sometimes i do feel pain whenever it got compressed, so yeah.

  this discussion is so out of my league all i can recognise are occipital temporal , peritoneal,suture and ligameant can dun help me relieve my nightmares?
