Sadly but turth is , the Banking industry still pays well. So for those who studied BnF,Accountancy etc, don't give up the chance and try to move into such jobs. thats where the dole really lies.
gd luck !!
Well as for uni grads, i really depends where are u heading, the company your applying to. Big firms like IBM, Accenture are still paying rather well for fresh grads.Originally posted by BillyBong:Nowadays, with economic growth at a snail pace, companies everywhere are cutting costs. With wage bills high on their shrinking agenda, many firms are enforcing their MVC.
If a company could employ a poly grad to replace a degree holder and pay half the cost, they would do so.
In the end, i wonder which is worse off: a lower paid poly grad or a jobless degree freshie....
Masters got $2800 ? wah not too bad ..my fren had a Master in IT majoring in Network Security ..is drawing a $1800 currently ...poor himOriginally posted by HyuugaNeji:ya lor now even uni grad are settling for 1.8k-2.4k nia. At least your IT friend has a job. Many IT jobs are now being taken away by cheaper Indian indians and the mainlanders are not far away.Originally posted by HyuugaNeji:1.8k only you fren can bang wall.

poly grad working in the banking industryOriginally posted by Gazelle:are you talking about fresh poly grad or poly grad working in the banking industry?
I dont think there is any meaning for us to talk about your friend 6K income since he is not a fresh grad. I dont think there is any limit to how much a poly grad can earn, your experience and performance is what that determine your pay not so much on your qualificiation.Originally posted by one-niner:poly grad working in the banking industry
only in stats board or as civil servants.Originally posted by ditzy:Uh, finished NS get 0.2K more?![]()
