Firewalking ceremony...First event

Yesterday the first event was held at the Mariamman temple in Chinatown in prior to the firewalking ceremony in Nov. In the event, the chief priest came dressed as the goddess of war carrying a huge pot of fire and blessed the temple to make sure that all up coming events would go smoothly The temple was filled to the brim and to my surprises a large number of Chinese had also came to see the ceremony...i donÂ’t know how they found.
Today at about 8pm the war flag would be raised to indicate the start of the warÂ…. -
