I just bought this phone.. n wondering if anyone using the same phone as me... coz i couldn't find the auto keylock function...
If anyone using the same phone can tell me whether this phone got auto keylock function a not -

clamshell also dun use keylock as it will go to screen saver mode when inactive or close right?if its true then its also useless for clamshell owner to keylock as if i keylock and close halfway for camera mode(im using 6260) the keylock will deactivate

I think auto keylock is only a function that Sony Ericsson HP has.. Nokia is to the best of my knowledge.. only manual key locking.. by pressing the menu key followed by the ' * ' key -

To shirurinu: Maybe you can try looking at the "Automatic Keyguard" function under your "Phone Settings". -

6230i should be better in audio/multimedia those things. also 3230 dont have stereo.
and the voice recorder for 3230 can only record one minute??????record up to 60min for video while voice can only 60sec. stupid smartphone.........i think have to get another application to extend voice recording time. whereas the 6230i is record 1 hour voice. -
for auto-lock functions u have to download and install on ur phone, one of the many free symbian series 60 (3230 is a symbian S60 OS version 7 phone). i got mine @ http://www.gadget17.myby.co.uk/site/symbian.htm and using the AutoLock software. another one is JJKeylock...works the same...there are also a few others out there u can try and find for urself...hope this helps...Originally posted by shirurinu:I just bought this phone.. n wondering if anyone using the same phone as me... coz i couldn't find the auto keylock function...

thanks, the autolock software is useful.
3230 also has a bug which when in silent mode, incoming sms alert wont vibrate. has the bug been fixed already? -

3230 mp3 and some midi files the quality is generally below average expectation. for those who want to treat their phone as music player, dont buy this model.
