Rumours on 40% discount at all petrol kiosk

Now petrol kiosks have long long queue and the staff very busy now, explaining there is no such discount. It's just a rumour.
The rumour is flying all over the place: forums, sms etc. even in sgforums' Car forum. Somebody has requested the thread starter to go and die.
