if the president wanted, he could have driven aoround the padang as there was a class 30 trackway laid out along the whole padang for the vehicles. f you notice, at the very start when the hosts come in, their cars drive on a certain path that is also followed by the floats at the end. the president can follow that path, but it is not in tradition for him to do so, and it makes for a pretty bumpy ride...
