I think everyone has their own taste of music and nobody can ever force them what to like and what to hate and everybody's entitled to their own opinion and taste...it's just not right to criticise people for what they like....different people have different minds....just my opinion btw!

In the first place those that you heard is not real techno.. its commercial cheese.. aka top40s of so called "techno" aka trash... As for the full volume ear phone types, I also dislike them.. dunno why they can bear to listen to such full volumes and not ear drum burst.. but bear in mind that its not only techno.. there is full volume heavy metal, Hiphop(arghh) and even top 40s

Techno is not the same beat again and again.. it has subtle differences. But to non-techno fans such as you AND me, we cannot appreciate the difference because it is just not our thing.
No one is challenging no one. You think its like supporting a football club where the fans of each club challenge an opposing club's supporters? If you really are a music fan then you should know that music lovers all share the same love for music..

not all techno music has no lyrics/meaning...some has meaningful lyrics...there are even some techno songs protraying romance,love,heartache n stuff....dont sterotype techno music as meaningless songs...
