The power of music

The power of music is unbelievably great !It stretches my imagination to the fullest and brings back many wonderful memories to me .But music can be too inspiring that i seek a reality that is different frm the reality we have now,harsh,mean and unjust !i draw hope and strength and confidence frm music.I feel like i can change my reality.Or...is it jus false hope ??

I too listens to New Age, when it comes to development and structure of the music, I still find New Age mediocre as compared to Classical....
that said, I still love both genres. -

That's why after listening to Bach, I've to switch to some music with simple accompaniment and less development. If not, my mind will feel groggy. -

Pachelbel's Canon is one of the finest canons around, but canons with ground bass, like it, have repeating harmonic progression. Repetition is quite boring but the tuneful melody overshadows it.Originally posted by shade343:Canon In D is very nice also. I never seem to get tired of it. -

Fur Elise is another favourite. Marriage D amour also....basically any song I can play on the piano is what I like. -

Infamous bollywood composer A.R. Rahman never ceases to amaze and every time you hear his music, it gets better and better. Here too the maestro lives up to his expectations thus proving once more why he is the king of melody.
