Beneath the Haze...

As usual, at this time of the year, we would be plagued by the haze caused by the massive reforestation & illegal logging from our friendly neighbor. Singapore is spared at the moment, although ‘still subjected to wind directions’. However, I couldn’t say the same thing with Malaysia, whereby the air quality has sky rocketed to the hazardous level and several schools and offices were closed.
Deep within the surface of the considerable arises of respiratory problems where many are facing right now; it did not occur to most of us what else has been happening from all these deforestation & logging.
Looking at these and knowing what we are going through every time at this time of the year, means nothing to me anymore. How human can be so vicious and cruel, that’s something I still can’t quite fathom even till now. Quoting from a colleague who just saw this, “We are worse than animals” and yes, I couldn't agree more.

if the haze get into singapore..the drivers will be turning on their high beam and foglights...
Seriously, i wonder what will the singapore schools do when the haze come to singapore and air quality v. bad..then if no school then i can chat in sgforums..

In music, a fugue is a type of piece written in counterpoint for several independent musical voices. A fugue begins with its subject (a brief musical theme) stated by one of the voices playing alone. A second voice then enters and plays the subject, while the first voice continues on with a contrapuntal accompaniment. Then the remaining voices similarly enter one by one. The remainder of the fugue further develops the material using all of the voices.
