Whats the difference between a VWO and a NPO?

  A VWO is a volutary Welfare Organisation.
  
  A NPO is a Non-Profit Organisation.
  
  I believe that a NPO is sunjected to tax on their revnues while a VWO isnt? Can anyone verify?
  
  Also NKF is classified as a VWO is it?

  According to their webby, they are a non-profit organisation...but I think the government still tax them...
