for simple tricks to do with coins, cards, u can d/l videos from p2p programs, they have tutorial, teaching u from the very basic stuffs. like different types of "breaks" for cards and how to hold a deck of card which u need to know before u learn to perfrom magic. And different ways to hide coins in your hands, which u also need to know before learning to perfrom magic.
these tricks seems to be easy, but pratice makes perfect, u need to train yourself to make things look natural. -

My friend's a magician too... He paid <$25 per trick depending on how nice the effects are... And I learnt some from him as well... Actually most are just mathematics... Some need practices to perfect it and some are gimmicks as well...
