no budget. Actually thinking of getting Fujitsu but boss insisted using IBM. No choice. We have X40 already very stable and light. T43 compare to x40 how?

IBM had sold its whole PC division including Thinkpad notebook to Lenovo.
see whether your boss still wants to insist on 'IBM'? -

i got ibm T43.. have been using it for near 3 months. I really like the titanium cover and the laptop flatness. As for performance of the lappy, its rather average loh. But no regrets buying T43

for office use...I dunno about the fugitsu cover....but I have earlier models of IBM thinkpad made of metal cases...so I think its more robust... -

T43 is a decent config...don't worry about the sets being of the company which bought over IBM.they still have stock...besides..the newer laptops will still be called Thinkpad but nt IBM Thinkpad.Processor for mine is 1.86Ghz, paid about 2.6k for it,but tt's cuz i student.Haha
