MRT has lax security after midnight....

I managed to sneak inside Novena MRT station before. Nobody seems to be guarding the place after midnight.
Its so easy. I just jump over the fare gates. While I was inside, I saw a group of malays partying and drinking beers on the seats.
On a side note, can anyone explan why the openings for the train entrance is left wide open after service hour? -
No point planning a terror strike after midnight, even if security is lax. For maximum impact, it is better to attack a train that is packed. But that is only possible during the day, and security is tighter at these hours.
