Matrix-like action scenes in movies today sux!

The camera rotating, quick slow and fast moving scenes. just spoils the action scene in my opinion. Such a trend was not found in movies before the matrix. They had constant flow of slow moving action scenes, camera angles some cool closeups and editing. They were more intense and fulfilling. Somewhere in the mid to late 90s some shaky camera movements first seen in "The Rock" actually slightly confused the scenes.
