  Anyone knows the price range for a portable hard disk?

  150 and above for 20GB ones....
  but if u wan convience and if ur in poly, getting a 1gb sd card or 1gb flash drive works

  I got one 'Ranger' 40GB portable hard disk.
  Got it free from Singtel when I upgraded my brandband from 512 to 1500 kbps. The value stated there was $260+.
  Can back up the entire hard disk info.

  depends on wad u buy for the casing... somee casing can fetch a high price. my casing cost me ard $60+ if u wan fire wire den more ex. for normal 1 can fetch ard $20
  
  for a normal 2.5'' SAMSUNG notebook HDD cost ard $110 and higher for 40GB. i dunno the price nw but it should be ard this price. i got 2 portable HDD. 1 20 GB cost me $150 while my another 40gb coz me $140. well it all depends on the casing and hdd brand.

  great! where do they sell those could you recall? my idiot friend told me $200 for a 14gb one, almost wanted to give him the money.
