A few weeks ago , i was watching a foreign film on Central , then his advertisement for the piano stuffs came up , and i quickly changed the channel with my remote control.
At first , before i was ok-ok towards ar rahman.
After that guy kept on promoting him , i got sick of him.
Just like religion , some people keep on calling you on your phone , ask you go to a religious place to worship , pestering and irritating the shiit out of you , unless you convert and believe in their religion.
Thus making you angry and downright feeling frustrated.
Likewise with the unnoticed agenda of converting forumites ,by irritating and pestering the shhiit out of me , until someday i convert and believe in his culture.
I won't.
Going by this analogy ,Korea/Japan/USA did not influence Singapore culture by forcing people to watch only k/j-dramas. They slowly put 1 or 2 shows , and get people addicted and asking for more. After that they would try to ask for feedback and see if majority of people liked the dramas , before broadcasting more dramas.
Or use AC Nielsen to check out the viewership ratings.
If you were the programme director , you would also fail , cause going by your example , if you were in charge of the TV station , you would broadcast 8am-11:59pm , all of the same dramas from same country , thus making people angry and upset.
to mr bollywood or whoever it is.
you also make a poor salesman . Salesman who can't sell his product to potential customers , will at least say +thanks for coming!+ , if you are a salesman , i can imagine you bugging the potential customer til he/she purchases it.
my suggestion to you , work as a salesman in a travelling agency , which promises free gift and expensive watch for people who join. And force people to sit down if they try to leave. -

At first , to admit , i was a little interested about AR Rahman and found out more about him and his work with Andrew Llyod Webber.
After this guy spammed in this forum. i thought to myself "What the hell is this guy trying to do by spamming topics??" "He's making me so sick of him!"
That was my breaking point. Never.

actually I was starting to like AR music after the MPs which V_C and some other clones before him posted. But i didnt flame their threads. If u do it, u are just giving more exposure to his intention to promote.
