How to copy pic from DVD?

  I am watching some training DVD on my computer.
  It shows some useful notes that I want to copy for my study.
  I am not able to use alt+print screen to paste on Paint program.
  
  Is there anyway to do it?

  Sounds like you require an external picture editor, like irfanview.

  if you are using windvd, freeze on the frame you wanna capture and right click on the mouse. u should see an option call "bookmark/capture ". select "capture image" and u can save it as a jpeg

  honey, got some DVD player programs allows you to do screen shots. I forgot the title liaoz, must go and find...

  Mayb click pause, then press "print screen" then paste into paint???i only know tis way..

  DVD cannot. it will appear as the current screen of the DVD. pasted image will change as the DVD plays...
  
  you think I neber try b4 mehz? got a DVD program with a screen capture function, I forgot the name, but I got use b4................

  Windows Media Player,
  
  Go to Tools > Options,
  
  Click on the Performance tab...
  
  Set Video Acceleration to none...
  
  Now you can take using the Print Screen Button...

  I use PowerDVD by Cyberlink. There is a Capture frame (C) button on the panel which you can use to capture still frame from any playable movies on PowerDVD. If you go to the Configuration, you can even allocate the resolution size of the captured picture.
