Gals need to dress up to look good

I saw this friend today, used to be very plain-looking, not the type that you will take a second look at. Today I saw her, wah! 180 degrees turn. Can be classified under chio bu now. I reckon it's the entire package that made her look good, from the hair to the make-up and the dressing.
Like to ask along as well. For guys, will you have a plain-looking gal who won't dress up at all as a girlfriend? If she becomes your girlfriend, will you ask her to dress up whenever you two go for dates?
For the gals, what propels you to either dress up to look up or not dressing up at all? Do you dress to kill even if say you just go downstairs for 5 mins to buy something?

Dress up for him only.. but then I still want him to accept me as what I am.. the natural me. I'm not the kind of girl who will put on make up even when I go to the market or sch.

yeah. i do believe gals need dress sense. i came across this female hall mate of mine who has a very good dress sense. even if she is wearing house clothes. very stunning and leave me great impression for over a year plus...

I dress up when I feel like it. And mostly during the weekends.
Yes, some girls look good in the uniform because they make themselves look good for school. Some people do go there to STUDY lehz.
A whole load of difference can be made depending on how much time one spends on the hair, maybe some concealer, very minor make-up. Even if just going downstairs.
BUT WHAT FOR?!
The best is to always be plain, then when got occasion then dress up THEN stunning what. Otherwise always nice, people will see until sianz.
Some more where got so much money buy so many nice clothes?! A lot of time needed to dress up and make up lehz!!! If got time good, if in a hurry no choice also wat.
ALSO don't want to cheat people. If I know my BF when I was pretty, one day he see me without all the pretty fake stuff, then how?! run away ah?! Hahahaha!!!~ -
Personally I prefer plain jane than any other girls although I do agree with your thread title.

If you have seen Katie Leung's photos, you'll never think the same of oriental girls anymore.
