Boredom. Joyless. Unhappiness

I dont understand. These days we have a lot of pubs, discos, entertainments.Our lives must be joyless, the more joyless the world becomes the more we need tvs, entertainment, disneylands. We need more alcohol, cigarettes, drugs just to avoid the anguish that we are. Do you agree?

Well, why do u think those entertainment exist coz we feel anguish, instead of coz they serve to entertain us and make us even happier? It's just a commercial outlet, but in olden days people get entertainment too, just in different form like maybe walking on the beach or chit-chatting.

So we need tvs, nightspots, games to make ourselves happy, busy, entertained? So do we have to depend on all these entertainments to entertain ourselves?
