PSP question

I'm sure some of you know about the PSP. I need some advice... would it be better to buy the Japan set with no warranty or the local set with 12months warranty for an addition of $100? And also, does it mean that the Japan set is made in Japan and the local set isn't?

Better get one with the warranty.
Cause PSP still got a lot of problems.... -
Local set and Japan set both mad in japan. $100 for 18 months warranty...I think You can live without it bah. Be sure to check for Dead pixel first.

How many places in Singapore know how to repair a psp and has stock for faulty psp components?
