How many dogs are put down in SPCA or by vets each day?

As above... i read in another forum that lots are put down each day.... even if they are healthy and young... simply because their owners dun wan them anymore and nobody wans to adopt them or wadever...
so sad....
i like dogs alot... they so poor thing... if only i have a puppy i will sayang it alot... now i can only sayang my cousin's doggie... it likes me alot! everytime when it sees me, it will bark and leap at me n lick me.. haha.. cute!!!!
people... if u have dogs dun abandon them ok.. if u cant care for them anymore, at least house them to a nice home... -
Because they're so cute at the start you like them, and when they're not cute anymore, chuck them one side like a used toy. That's why they end up there.

Thats why they say pets are life-time committments.
I never like dogs before, and I got mine to make my wife happy.
But it became a committment to me.
I realised that they value you more then anytime else most of the time.
You can wack them jia lat jia lat...but they come back to you.
They do not know anyone else they can turn to. They are born orphans from day one, 8 out of 10 dogs never get to see their parents again. Their parents had no choice but to let you have their children, bcoz you got money.
To you they are dogs. To them, you are everything. -
recently a dog died of heart stroke because the owner couldnt be bothered.
