actually, from what i know, most people have blogs because they just want to share it with their own friends and stuff like that.
however, when the general public gets hold of the blog, the blogger will get unwanted attention and some will be at a loss on how to handle the unwanted attention, be it good or bad.
i myself do not have a blog but i admit i do often visit some blogs to find out the latest postings. in my opinion, if you do not mind the unwarranted attention, you can put photos, otherwise do not put them in your blog at all. -
its quite common to post ur own photos online these days.. just look at friendsters'..... tons of people have self pics...

people who are famous by blog are people who write fancy stuff about themself or other.
so if it just a normal blog of yourself i.e your diary i think its ok

Agreed, I blog for my friends to read. I dont get to see them all the time, some of them once every 3 mths or so.
