Why is the prison allowed to do such a thing? I thought this is supposed to be a developed 1st world c'try? Or has it to do with the kind of offence committed which allows the prison to selectively deny access to legal counsel?Originally posted by oxford mushroom:The errant lawyers fully deserve their punishments. Our legal system does not guarantee rights of access to counsel automatically. Remember Ah Hao's lawyer was not allowed to see him whilst he was being interrogated. Subhas applied to the court several times but each time the police refused...said they were still investigating the case.Originally posted by Wanda:Why is the prison allowed to do such a thing?
