i dun think ppl still wear 'japanese' leh..i thought long time over le...as in, if your definition of 'japanese look' is those socks and short skirts..whatever la.
i like gothic punk now....dunno if that is considered 'japanese' too. i also have those 'stupid fringe covering the whole forehead'. but then again. i had it all my life. -
To be honest, some Japanese clothes are quite nice. But what we see on the streets are those trying to emulate the Japanese "cool" bunch. I don't see the appeal, it's quite tasteless
Maybe because I'm now sadly in the above 25 age bracket, I prefer something more tasteful, & dare I say it, classy.

wear wool cap in hot weather, wear silver-colored dog-chain, very large and baggy pants(those that cover 3 / 4 of the legs but not full length), wear baggy t-shirt and a singlet over the baggy t-shirt, and their accessory? usually a skateboard. clowns lah.
even if real americans dress like this in SG look weird already.
u dress up according to the place you're. in comparison, at least japanese-style is slightly better than american-style here, although both are totally fake in SG.
also, those girls like to dress up like japanese also ok lah, but are they going to be involved in cos-play sex orgies? if yes, then i first to sign up.
