In breaking news from the region, the world's first toilet-cleaning college, offering formal training and qualifications, is being set up in Singapore.
Students will learn to take care of the entire toilet, from changing bulbs and repairing locks and leaky taps to recommending changes to the toilet layout, Agence France-Presse reports.
Most Singaporeans shun cleaning jobs, which tend to be taken up by older workers or those from poorer Asian countries. The classes aim to educate these people in the latest techniques from Japan, a spokesman for the World Toilet Organisation said.
The Singaporean Government has waged a war on dirty public toilets since the mid-1990s, launching campaigns to find the loveliest lavatories and fining people for a failure to flush. -

sooner or later, our toilets will be sooooooooooooooo clean that we can eat and dine in them~!!
