  all the hype about ps3 coming out soon. but how many people will actually fork out the money to buy a ps3 instead? its not as cheap as the prices when ps2 was first launched in singapore. and definitely defines the term 'not value for money'

  Expect between $350 to $400 for modded set, if you still can find them.

  The slim PS2 set overheats easily, the set should cost ard $200-250
  standard package should be a dual-shock controller and a 8M memory card,
  mayb a few games included.
  
  I m also looking 4 the original PS2 set (the black one) as it doesn't overheats easily and can withstand overnight usage, but then the price might be a bit expensive than the slim set

  i'm willing to let go my original ps2 just buy new year time and already mod, 2x controller, an memory card and around 10-15 games at 500-550, not 2 keen to sell but will if somebody meet the price and cause now no more mod ps2 already.
  A crystal edition xbox modded 1x controller and 5 games at 300-350. This mod xbox is also a region free dvd/vcd/cd player. Xbox is not being mod nowadays.
  Prices are negiotable. Discount 10% if u buy both. Will allow testing and checking of both sets before sale. In case of mutiple buyers, the highest bidder will get the ps2 or xbox.

  I expect to get my PS3 roughly at year 2010. Then, the price will be affordable, the good game will have come out and the hardware will be stablised.
  
  Sony has a bad reputation of bad hardware at first release. Look at the PSP.
  
  Of course, it sucks that modding is now illegal in Singapore. I have to find some other avenues then.
