Linksys wireless router

  Need some help.
  
  I managed to link by laptop & the PC.
  But cannot establish the link to internet from the laptop.
  
  Any experts who can help?

  Firstly does your laptop has centrino?If not do you have a wireless card??

  Yes.
  My PC is on SIngNet Broadband vis ISDN modem. It is also connect to router (WAP54G).
  
  The laptop is not Centrino but it has a wireless card (WPC54G). I bought the router & wireless card together at the IT show.
  
  Managed to established the link between PC & laptop.
  But the analysis programme on the laptop says there is a connection between both machines but internet cannot be found.
  
  Do I need to create any dialup connection on the laptop?

  Use the setup home or small connection wizard on your laptop and select connect thru gateway. The gateway is your router.

  try connecting without any encryptions settings at first..then go step by step.

  After setting up your home network, if your download speed from p2p, torrents (eg BitTorrent, LimeWire) is slow.. you have port problems , please do visit.

  managed to forward a couple of ports, ended up with faster downloads
