comp wif cpu or monitor?

i keep having tis prob recently...when i start my comp, the screen will be black and the light will turn to orange...then after a few tries of pluggin and unpluggin the cable or leaving it for a while, the comp is back to normal...anione noe's wat the prob? prob been gettin more frequent recently..

used to happen to my comp all the time. was very annoying cause, well if you happen to restart it after using it for some time you cant get it on but, if you let it rest for sometime it works.
the problem for me was the power source. try getting your motherboard tested out first before replacing it though. if its not your motherboard then you can try changing your power source.
