The Singapore Police is a lapdog of the PAP.
It's under the Home Affairs which is headed by Wong "Cunt" Sing who in turn is groomed to be the next PM.
They basically use all the NSFs to do the menial jobs of patrolling the estates, cleaning the NPPs and checking out anyone who's jumped off his flat, thus reserving the hardcore group as some sort of SS to sniff out those who they deem are against the PAP's political interest.
A good example is their investigation of the young chap who made the film, Singapore Rebel, on Chee Soon Juan. Heard this guy may face a fine or up to 2 years' jail.
So there goes, this is your Singapore under Lee Hsien Loong, who no doubt shares his father's authoritarian streak. -
