Should R(A) Movies Be Abolished?

Hi....has anyone ever thought of this...
Why are kids not allowed to watch certain movies?
Why?
Like, movies with violence, sexual content, foul language, gore?
And........
Why are these movies available for adults?
Has anyone ever wondered whether this practice has any ill-effects at all? They recognize such movies have negative influence on impressionable young minds, yet they deem such negative influence will not exist in adults' minds. Or as they say, adults can exercise better judgement.
It's time to use a better line of reasoning. It's time to sort things out. This is an outdated model. Adults get influenced as well, although not as much as kids. And not to mention, kids may watch those movies too.
The movie industry need not resort to sex, foul language, violence, gore, and they can still make money and entertain.
Just look at those movies like Finding Nemo.
It can be done.
Imagine the amount of foul language, sex, violence, gore, that adults all over the world are being exposed to.
How people think, behave, act, are all affected by the media. The media has a powerful influence, and right now there is too much negative stuff floating around in the world through the entertainment media. Partly this situation is conditioned by the current classification system.
Imagine if this practice is completely done away with. Imagine if the opposite were to happen. Everything is so wholesome. It will affect people's mindset. And the mindset, is the key to build a better world.
Wouldn't you agree?
Please think about it. -
Just like there are shows for kids,teenagers there should be one for adults too..

Exactly, the movies which are earning the most bucks are the usual Hollywood blockbuster PG-13 (LOTR, Harry Potter, Spiderman). R(A) movie producers are in fact taking a huge risk since their potential revenue from "below-21s" is almost nonexistant. When you look at the big picture, gross-revenue is pretty much secondary in R(A) category.
