Found a lost white female Maltese!

I found this dog running around Pasir Ris West Plaza area at around 1:30 AM on September 6th, 2005...she almost got run over a few times whilst I was trying to get to her. She looks like she's in good health, a little scared but I got her calmed down and she's sleeping now at the time of this post in my study after having a drink of plain water.
She rejected all food and treats I offered her. She's a very well mannered dog and does not bark or growl even when I was prone trying to get to her in the bushes at Pasir Ris Farmway.
Please contact me if you know her or you are the owner. I cannot keep her long as she is terrified of my own dogs. (My dogs are very friendly but I think she's under too much stress to socialize.)

why dont you bring the dog back to where you found her. i believe posters must be everywhere now (if the owner is looking for her) -

Found 1 of the same kind few months ago at pasirise too. I send it to SPCA right middle of the night and the owner found him the second day.

She's not eating and has not eliminated for the past 12 hours. Her water's all finished and she's cuddling under my study room chairs..
I think she's calmer now and will approach me when I go into the room but my dogs are dying to meet her which scares the @&@*& out of her.
I hope her owner comes to claim her soon, I cannot adopt her as it would be unfair to my own dogs to suddenly disrupt their social rank and order I have painstakingly established for them at home.
If no one claims her in a couple of days I'll have to send her to SPCA.
By the way Ditzy, dogs cannot consume chocolate unless they are specially processed ones. -
go ard your neighbourhood and see anybody post notices
inform the pet shops ard your house
if u send to SPCA..i thought they will put them to sleep if nobody claim or something????

i think they are just stains

I checked her ears and bottom of the feet. Both look like they're in good condition so I think she's been lost not long. Most likely when I found her she was lost just for a couple of hours or so..
Oooh I had this sudden visage of her owners actually staying in some far flung area from Pasir Ris and then leaving abandoning her there far from home so she cannot find her way back. How I would love to kick someone's ass if this was the case...
No those aren't blood stains don't worry
Interesting thing about her is that I found some patches on her back that looked like hair was cut sloppily off. Too clean for an animal attack, but really randomly arranged such that it doesn't look like grooming at all.
Extremely well mannered dog though. -

The owner has been found!
This owner was the second owner and the dog (Girlgirl) was really ecstatic to see her when she came to claim her.
Anyway according to this owner, the first owner had previously used cigarettes to burn her armpits and she also showed me a scar made by a knife on the top of Girlgirl's head. The second owner adopted her from someone who found her when the first owner abandoned her...
Shows that some people really aren't suited for pet keeping.
