Help! Where can i find basic art classes?

  Hi everyone
  I am a 23 yrs old NUS student and like to learn some basic sketching but dun know where to start from. Know that i am a bit old to start but im not aspiring to be professional artist or what . Just like to do something i like since i like drawing since young.
  
  Any one can recommend any places or classes which i can sign up for (really basic) art classes? Thanks

  a cheaper way is to check out the tips and tricks online or visit the library for more information on freehand sketching. Seems like you intend to take it up as a hobby so i believe there is no point in spending on sketching lessons unless you are willing to spend?
  
  the best way to do it is pick up a pencil or charcoal and start sketching now. or you can get a drawing tablet connected to your pc for more efficient sketch practices and presentation. since you like drawing at a tender age, why wait until now for a start? you may have missed out more ways to present an piece of work besides using pencils or charcoal..(e.g airbrush, water, acrylic, ink etc)

  Thks for your reply!
  Anyway i would like to learn something from classes as its more fun rather than self learning myself. Wouldnt mind paying as long its not too expensive.
  Been searching on the net but to no avail as most courses are either for kids or professionals.
  Main reason for starting late as i have been busy with my studies. Its only recently that i realised that i have no hobbies or skills. Want to do something i like and not waste my life on studies only thats why asking around now.
  Hope its not too late.....
