how to mask smoke smell in hair?

is there a good way without bathing? caus there was once i smoked and my mom questioned me about why there is a smoke smell.. i told her the bus stop was full of ppl smoking.

I heard from my smoker friends: try to face down wind so that the smell will not get onto your clothes. Always eat mints after smoking. Also, apply your perfume with a fog machine.
