Alarm went off at the new National Library

Today went to the National Library to borrow and return books While reading book halfway the fire alarm went off then after that it was the smoke detector. After investigations it was found to be a false one. But we Singaporeans do not act anything on the alarm and will sure think that is false one. What happen if it is a real one??? Singaporeans need to do something about it and me too

what if the fire takes place on one of the floors that is out of bounds to the public? no one would see the fire and run for their lives. everything would be calm......... veryyyyy calllmmmmmmm.

common fire alarm practice
1. first alarm will just notify that there is possibility of fire. but stay in calm and wait for second notification
2. if after investigation, no problem. carry on your work
3. if after investigation, there is fire. then evacuate. This is after the second fire alarm. -
