  Tomorrow i am having my science prelim practical and i want to ask if there are any useful points for me?
  
  example: leave...answer 3s.f or something lidat

  hmm.. just stay calm i guess? you should be able to know the information of the tests all that well enough by now, now just make sure you don't panic, and do everything normally. if there is someone in front of you, then that's good, easier for you to check and look out for + points of your other classmates.

  read evey single instruction carefully ... once u mess it u wont get the correct result .....

  tip: observe ur lecturer.
  
  Last time my chem pratical...supposed to identify few substances n chemicals. But I ddnt really know how. So I just observe lecturer while daydreaming. I saw him take tissue from his pocket and saw a small piece of paper drop out. I quick quick go over and pick it up after he walked away. The paper contained the names to the substances Im supposed to identify. So whole lab I just sit down and write test for each substances

  Lol, not everyone will be as lucky as u man...
  
  I guess just read the instructions carefully? Especially for physics, try not to read wrongly which might cause you to do the whole experiment all over again.
  
  And for chem, some of the questions if no need to try out, eg. metal and water give out which gas, then don't do it!

  Physics practical quite jialat.. the only tips that I can give you is this:
  
  1)Read the instructions very carefully
  2)Take note of the units
  3)Show the working of the gradient of the graph (if any) clearly...
  4) Don't dilly dally, you might end up not finishing the practical
  5) Don't be too hasty either... wait you miss steps
  
  Actually physics practically is see agility one.. if you no skill most likely you won't do well... especially the pendulum bob one... that one most jialat (for me at least)

  This one i not very sure.. But generally if your final answer is in 3 s.f., your intermediate steps should contain answers in 4 s.f. at least

  You'll have to "feel" which one is right.
  
  What my teacher says is... you'll have to follow the smallest significant figure involved in the working...
  
  e.g. 3s.f / 2s.f your answer will be 2s.f
  
  Took some people a week to understand the above statement.
