SengKang MRT

  hi all,
  
  does anyone know if the SengKang MRT is along the Ang Mo Kio MRT route?
  meaning that if i take a MRT at the Ang Mo Kio station and travel all the way, i will reach SengKang? or do i have to get down and transfer to other mrts halfway?

  Nope.. You have transfer to NE line at Douby Ghaut Mrt.
  The whole trip will take you one hour.
  Taking bus 88 or 86 will be a better option.

  because i'm trying to go to the Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park area, and according to StreetDirectory, i've to alight at SengKang MRT first. that's totally crazy......this will be the worst trip ever, and i thought those deserted army camps were worst.

  Which Industrial Park are you going to? There's Park 1, 2 and 3.

  umm.......the address is Blk 5 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2A.
  
  my 2nd question is : what is this AMK Industrial Park about? is it shops there with customers? or is it like offices and those chemical plants etc.?

  it's between amk mrt and SK mrt
  
  depending on whether u are oredi on the NS line or NEL

  because the classified ads today, there's a job for cute indoor plants(retail assistants). the interview location is at AMK Industrial Park, and i scare that if the actual working place is there, then i die.
  (the job sounds really cool lah, though) i live in Boon Lay mah. if that AMK Industrial Park location is only their HQ or HR unit, not so bad.
  (but scarly their shop is at Pungol or Tampines, then i die!!!!! )

  KNN......since the AMK Industrial Park is so near to Fernvale/SengKang, they should call it SengKang Industrial Park mah!

  Oh... I thought that you live in Sengkang.
  However, you can still take bus 88 from the bus stop near the Ang Mo Kio Mrt station. There's 2 bus stops over there. Exit from the main extrance and you will see the bus stop at your left.
  Yeah... AMK industrial park is quite near the MRT station anyway.
  It'll be better that you take the cab from there if you are not familiar with the Industrial Park.

  Like taking bus from Senkang/Hougang to Yishun/Woodlands is faster by taking MRT which need to go one big round. Even if CCL is up, buses will still be faster

  Service 268 via Ang Mo Kio MRT station goes into this Industrial Park. Services 72 (Yio Chu Kang - Tampines), 88 (Pasir Ris - Toa Payoh) and 159 (Sengkang - Toa Payoh) pass by it along Ang Mo Kio Ave 5.
